My Book’s Mood

Howdy, Howdy, Howdy!

I recently made a pair of mood boards for my books and wanted to share.

This is for Special Delivery, which arrives February 4th.

Jack Dawson has been madly in love with Tan Nguyen since high school. So when his oldest crush walks into his flower shop to place an order, Jack…runs into the closet to hide.

Valentine’s Day is the worst day for florists, especially lonely ones who just want a boyfriend at least a quarter as hot as Tan. Add in Jack having to hand-deliver a special romance basket for Tan’s secret date while wearing a bright red suit and he’s tempted to flee to Canada.

But, to his shock, this is going to be a February Fourteenth that Jack will never forget.

My second mood board is for the book I’m working on right now. I keep trying to punch through the January blah depression to put down words. I miss the sun.

Trini Martinez never thought of herself as flaky. No matter the radius of the problem, she could be counted on to solve and understand it. But when tentacles burst out of the newest Post-Doc to join the lab, and she finds herself pulled into an intergalactic game of tug she begins to question her sanity.

At least Nolan is there to rescue her. Friendly and charming, on top of being the hottest guy in a lab coat, he’d worked at her side for the past year in the lab. Trini assumed Nolan had no interest in her beyond their work together. Boy did she get that one wrong.

In this Pi-Day themed romance there will be quantum mechanic problems, steamy DNA exchanges, aliens with huge spaceships, and a banquet table of pie.
