With one shy, backward glance, she pulled him forward by the hand, propelling them through the restaurant, then the lobby, stopping only to press the elevator call button.
Those damn doors better open before he either changed his mind or exploded. He expelled a held breath when the bell dinged, and the doors swept open. He followed her into the empty car and she turned to face him.
One look into those wide, sea green eyes and he took the risk, lowering his mouth to hers, tasting her lips like some lovesick teenager. He could not stop. He didn’t want to stop.
She slid her body against his, and he hooked his hand behind her knee, pulling her close enough to feel her heat.
