What is your favorite scene/moment in your book?
Since this is a collection of holiday stories, each one has a special moment. The scene in “The Great Fruitcake Bake-off” where the heroine confesses her mistake is special.
Does your heroine prefer a real or artificial tree for Christmas?
Real!
What’s the one present your hero least wants to open Christmas morning?
Terrible cookies
Would your hero hang mistletoe?
In the vestibule
What scene did you adore writing in this book?
In “The Great Fruitcake Bake-off,” I loved writing the villains–what they looked like (very oily) and what they said.
What is your heroine’s favorite Christmas tradition?
Buying a real Christmas tree.
Does your hero love or hate snow?
Love. However, in Sommerville, snow doesn’t fall often. So when it does, special happy days.
For Christmas, will you be having turkey, goose, ham, prime rib, or something else?
We like having a big Christmas breakfast–homemade waffles, a quiche, fruit, and someone brings a huge carafe of coffee.
What’s the strangest Christmas tradition your family does to celebrate?
LOL. My sisters and I love, but don’t get to often, watch “White Christmas” together and sing all the songs.
