First Kiss Friday

Every Friday I share the first kiss from a book. This week it’s A Season to Love by Rebecca Heflin!
Kristen McKay finds she must seek forgiveness from the very man she swore never to forgive.

She leaned across the table, touched him beneath this chin, and he felt it down to his toes. “Thank you.” She pressed her lips to his in a soft, sweet kiss, but he wanted more.
Changing the angle of the kiss, he cupped the back of her head with his free hand, and coaxed her mouth open with his tongue. A moan of pleasure rose from her throat, and the kiss went from smolder to raging fire in three-point-four seconds. She rose from her seat and without breaking the kiss, straddled him.
Her fingers gripped his hair as her tongue played with his.
Fuck the ice. He shook it off his hand and lifted it to run his hands along her ribs, just to the underside of her breasts, stopping there. The desire for more left him dizzy and breathless. But this wasn’t the time or the place. Not here in the middle of the café where any passerby could see.
Just one more taste, and he’d stop.
