“Um…I suppose it’s goodnight then.” Good to know his do-the-right-thing conscience always won out, even though it could be frustrating. Like now, when he wanted to taste her tempting lips.

“Yes…” she said, without looking up, but she didn’t move.

Hope sprang into his heart, speeding up the sporadic beats. Is she wishing for more too?
“Eva…”

Her bewitching gaze reconnected with his then dropped to his mouth, and before he could stop himself, he kissed her. Instead of pushing him away, she molded her mouth to his, warm, supple and welcoming. Eva sighed, the remnants of red wine on her breath sending him straight from tipsy to drunk…on her.

Richard clutched her face and deepened the kiss, engaging their tongues like lustful lovers. She pressed her palms against his chest and leaned into him, sending his pleasure receptors into overdrive. He trailed his hands down her arched back to her sumptuous behind.
