First Kiss Friday

Every Friday I share the first kiss from a book. This week it’s Dance of Love by Sandra Carmel.

Steamy contemporary romance
novella featuring a hot male virgin.

He stared back at her in amazement. “It doesn’t bother you?”

“Of course not. Why should it? Chemistry, passion, and connection are the keys to making sex an incredible experience, not the mechanics alone.”

“But you’re leaving soon.”

“In four weeks. Plenty of time for you and me to fit in lots of hands-on sex education. I can put together a short but intensive practical course on how a woman can please you and you can please a woman.”

“You’d do that?”

“You say it like it’s a drain on me, a huge sacrifice. It’s so not. I’m going to love every second.”

She looked serious. And interested, really interested. “Every second, eh?”

“Yep. I just feel sorry for the women of Sydney. Once I leave and let you loose in the dating world with your master toolkit of strategies and techniques, there’ll be broken hearts all over the place.”

Including his. But he shouldn’t think about that when he’d been offered the proposition of a lifetime. It might be his only chance to sample the woman he’d been lusting over for months and learn some skills at the same time. She could help increase his confidence to move forward positively and be sure of what he could offer, once their fling-of-sorts finished. Better to have had a taste than nothing at all. Right?

He could do this. Or at least give it his best shot. If he said no, he’d never know.
Jeb cupped her face and kissed her, clinging like he’d been thrown overboard into a sea of stormy, turbulent emotions and Issy was the single, life-saving raft.

He pulled back to take a breath, her dazed expression mirroring exactly how he felt. “Okay.”

Her wishful gaze met his. “Okay? So you’re coming up?”
