Daniel shook his head. “I wouldn’t be torn to shreds over the idea of finally getting my revenge.”
My heart skipped a beat and I crested my fingers over the top of his. God, I’d give anything to feel the warm skin, the thin bones that’d pluck strings to make music, just once.
