Today’s excerpt comes from Madeline’s Park when Everett tries to appease Maddy’s cat after their first night together.
Giving a tiny wave, he worked his way into the kitchen, discovering his boxers in the process. It wasn’t proper for a gentleman to eat dry cereal in a lady’s home without his half-chub tucked away. If Maddy did that little foot swaying again that lifted her ass higher into view, he’d be having to hide away more than the half-er.
“Okay, cat. Hope you don’t mind me calling you cat since we are fighting for the same woman.” Everett talked to the unimpressed Monte while digging through the cupboards.
