Still uncertain of where he stood with her, Greg searched her enigmatic, sparkling brown eyes. “May I kiss you goodnight?”
A smile spread across Jill’s face. Instead of answering with words, she lurched and planted her mouth on Greg’s. At first, his eyelids popped open in surprise, but then he closed them as her velvet lips pressed against his. He took her in his arms and returned the affection as if he had kissed her first.
